Daily duties include, but are not limited to: - Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify wear and tear
- Attend to breakdowns and assist with general repairs
- Inspect and assess farm facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Carry out pre-start checks on farm equipment
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing
- Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and replacements on farm machinery, feeding systems, ventilation equipment, and other tools to minimise disruptions
- Monitor and maintain strict adherence to animal welfare standards and biosecurity protocols
What You’ll Bring: - Previous experience in a maintenance role (highly advantageous)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis to support farm management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
