About the Role: You will play a key role in keeping people and systems connected by delivering high-quality ICT support and maintaining essential telecommunications infrastructure. Working closely with the Network Manager, you’ll handle service requests, troubleshoot issues, and install and maintain copper and fibre networks along with driving reliable performance and continuous improvement across our communications systems. What You’ll Do - Install and configure wireless, cellular, Wi-Fi, and enterprise IT infrastructure, including switches and routers.
- Design, implement, and optimise wireless, Wi-Fi, and satellite network solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnose issues across network infrastructure.
- Install, patch, and troubleshoot data network components to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform field testing and prepare detailed commissioning reports for new deployments.
- Prepare, splice, and terminate a range of cabling types, including copper and fibre.
- Carry out testing using OTDR and power meter equipment.
- Identify faults and perform timely repairs to restore service.
- Execute installation and maintenance tasks in compliance with safety standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with and supervise subcontractors where required.
- Build, install, and maintain physical rack infrastructure across multiple sites.

Requirements of this role - ACMA Cabling licence with Endorsements is desirable but not essential.
- Experience providing first and second-level ICT support and managing service desk functions.
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining wireless, cellular, Wi-Fi, and enterprise IT infrastructure, including switches and routers.
- Familiarity with using testing equipment such as OTDR and Power Meters.
- Experience with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of network assets and components.
- Proven ability to conduct field testing and produce commissioning reports for new installations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Current “C” class driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated time management, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professional skills commensurate with the role.
