We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker to join our Workshop team. This hands on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, fabrication expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll work as part of a collaborative maintenance team to ensure our plant and equipment are operating at their best supporting the ongoing success of one of Australia’s leading agribusinesses. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and fabrication issues to minimise downtime. Manufacture, modify, and assemble machine components to technical specifications. Perform welding and metal fabrication safely and efficiently. Assist with urgent repairs outside normal hours when required. Mentor apprentices and promote a safe, positive, and productive work environment. Complete all job sheets and maintenance documentation accurately. Maintain a clean and compliant workshop and adhere to all WHS standards.
About YouTrade qualification in Engineering – Mechanical or Fabrication Trade (Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker). Proven experience in maintenance, fitting, or metal fabrication. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and commitment to quality.
