Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. About the role We are seeking a motivated and reliable team member to join our Feedmill Team at McLean Farms. This hands-on role supports daily feed production, distribution, and facility operations, helping to ensure high-quality feed is delivered safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Load and unload bulk and bagged ingredients, feed, and other materials for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Assist with blending and batching feed mixes to specification under supervision of the Feedmill Operators.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely, including augers, mixers, conveyors, and bagging machines.
- Conduct regular quality checks and take product samples in line with established feed safety and HACCP procedures.
- Maintain accurate production, dispatch, and inventory records.
- Monitor ingredient storage areas and report any stock shortages, contamination, or pest issues.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as greasing, oiling, and cleaning machinery to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards
