At times there are positions available across our sites working a casual, part-time or permanent full-time rosters in positions included, but not limited to, below

Poultry Workers

Cleaners

Production Attendants

Forklift Operators

Truck Drivers

Plant Operators

To be successful in these roles, you will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in Poultry is highly desirable but not essential
• Current valid drivers’ licence and/or relevant licence to perform the job
• A strong work ethic, reliable, punctual and motivated
• Ability to work as part of a team, but be able to work autonomously when required
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks
• A high level of workmanship and attention to detail
• Willingness to strictly adhere to the required animal welfare guidelines and regulations
• Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, bio-security and operational requirements
• Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values
• You are physically fit and can perform a range of activities including climbing ladders and steps, moving heavy objects using correct lifting and manual handling techniques and tasks requiring bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, balancing and reaching overhead

You may be required to work reasonable overtime to meet operational demands

To proceed with employment shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a Pre-employment functional assessment and Drug and Alcohol testing

Mclean Farms conducts random drug and alcohol testing across it's sites

You must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at home, and you must not regularly come into contact with birds, pigs or poultry in order to work at McLean Farms
