We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable stockperson to join our cattle and grazing operations on a full-time basis, with occasional weekend work required.

 

About the Role:
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of cattle and grazing. This role involves livestock handling, paddock and feeding operations, property maintenance, and general farm duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Muster and rotate cattle across paddocks.
  • Perform livestock processing, including drafting, weighing, and animal husbandry tasks.
  • Assist with supplementary feeding programs and monitor livestock condition.
  • Carry out fencing repairs and general property maintenance.
  • Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support daily farm operations to meet productivity targets.
  • Maintain high standards of animal welfare and low-stress stock handling practices

What we are looking for:

  • Strong horsemanship skills for cattle mustering and grazing activities.
  • Proven stockmanship skills with the ability to handle cattle safely using low-stress techniques.
  • Experience with general farm maintenance, including fencing repairs and property upkeep.
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence is essential, HR or MR Licence preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Physical capability to undertake the manual requirements of the role.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Additional Requirements:

The successful candidate will be required to provide their own horse and tack suitable for livestock production activities.

 

Please note that housing/accommodation is not available for this position at this stage.
