McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations.

We are seeking a Free Range Poultry Hand to join our Free Range Site.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

• Collect floor and system eggs daily, ensuring all eggs are clean, intact, and meet quality standards before entering the packer.
• Conduct visual inspections of egg belts and collection equipment, reporting any issues or anomalies to the Supervisor.
• Monitor bird health and welfare by checking for adequate feed, water, and lighting, and assist with humane handling of sick or injured birds.
• Carry out general maintenance on sheds, feed, and water systems, and perform grounds upkeep as required.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in sheds, egg collection areas, and equipment to support biosecurity and food safety compliance.
• Assist with bird placements and removals, and prepare sheds for new flocks as required.
