McLean Farms is in search for a Information Systems Manager to join our team. McLean Farms Administration Pty Ltd is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in the Darling Downs, specialising in livestock and food production. The business is involved with a broad range of other agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking an Information Systems Manager to join the team in a full-time capacity based in Pittsworth, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive information system framework tailored to the poultry agribusiness and manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement an Information Management Framework aligned with business goals.
- Establish a robust data governance framework to manage structured and unstructured data effectively.
- Design and maintain a central data repository integrating multiple platforms for seamless reporting.
- Manage and optimise McLean Farms’ central SQL data repository and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and report on KPIs for data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and reporting enhancements.
- Facilitate access to critical data for decision-making and plan for future data storage needs.
- Provide technical support and training to staff to enhance data management capabilities.
- Oversee and provide guidance to indirect reports, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and fostering a collaborative environment for effective data management.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Advanced degrees or certifications in data management, data governance, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
- Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience in Information Management, Reporting and Data Governance.
- Proficiency in database management, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and other information management tools.
- Strong understanding of data integration, data governance frameworks, and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and automation tools such as Nintex.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and optimise data and system performance issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards for data privacy and security.
