About the Role

In this role, you’ll lead a crew — including seasonal workers — to ensure sheds are efficiently cleaned and prepared for new flocks. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• High-pressure cleaning and sanitation of poultry sheds and equipment
• Coordinating shed set-up and fumigation preparation
• Ensuring all cleaning activities follow strict WHS and biosecurity requirements
• Assisting with bird placement, relocation, and vaccination
• Conducting toolbox talks and safety checks with your team
• Leading seasonal workers and ensuring they are trained and supported
• Completing required record-keeping for cleaning, chemical usage, and compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a leadership or team coordination role
• Strong understanding of biosecurity and safe work practices
• Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
• Machinery or high-pressure cleaning equipment experience is highly regarded
• Strong communication skills, organisation, and attention to detail
• A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to teamwork
