About the Role
In this role, you’ll lead a crew — including seasonal workers — to ensure sheds are efficiently cleaned and prepared for new flocks. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - High-pressure cleaning and sanitation of poultry sheds and equipment
- Coordinating shed set-up and fumigation preparation
- Ensuring all cleaning activities follow strict WHS and biosecurity requirements
- Assisting with bird placement, relocation, and vaccination
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety checks with your team
- Leading seasonal workers and ensuring they are trained and supported
- Completing required record-keeping for cleaning, chemical usage, and compliance
What We’re Looking For - Previous experience in a leadership or team coordination role
- Strong understanding of biosecurity and safe work practices
- Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
- Machinery or high-pressure cleaning equipment experience is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills, organisation, and attention to detail
- A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to teamwork
