McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting feed, water and light checks, including general maintenance to equipment where necessary.
• Conducting environmental checks to ensure birds are comfortable.
• Conducting inspections on bird welfare.
• Training of chicks in the use of the aviary system.
• General cleaning and servicing of sheds and equipment as required.
• Other duties as required.

What You'll Bring:

• Live locally for call out purposes or prepared to relocate to the area would be highly regarded.
• Weekend and call out work will be required.
• Willingness to strictly adhere to the required animal welfare guidelines and regulations.
• Previous experience in the poultry industry is not essential, but would be highly regarded.
• Current valid drivers’ licence.
• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks.
