McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

• Regular mowing of all grassed areas

• Regular precise spraying of areas to control vegetation

• Establishing new plants and maintaining existing garden beds and trees

• Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
• Maintaining of equipment and vehicles

• Operating machinery (where appropriately licenced)
• Assisting with pest control and livestock movement as required

What You’ll Bring:

• Current valid drivers’ licence

• Experience in grass slashing and general property maintenance
• HR licence and tractor experience desirable but not essential
• Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC) ticket desirable but not essential

• Be prepared to work as part of a team but be able to work autonomously when required

• Strong inter-personal skills, able to work co-operatively with internal and external contacts

• Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, biosecurity and operational requirements

• Must be reliable, punctual, and motivated
